Well, we didn't have the best weather for the holiday. It hadn't rained in over a week, but the downpour came around 4 pm that night and lasted until about 8. We had planned on going to my brother in laws (Ben) parents house for dinner and then going to watch fireworks. We still went to dinner and ended up getting to see some fireworks (some of which were pretty good actually) there that they had bought. Erin was scared to hold the sparklers and ran inside holding her ears whenever the big ones went off. It was really loud being that close and poor Mady got scared and had to go inside the van to watch them. We had fun though and Erin even went the next night with Andrew to see some big fireworks. She gets excited about pretty much anything!
