Pumpkin patch

We have had a lot of activities lately. Last Wed. night our church met at the Pumpkin patch and we had chili, hotdogs, smores and hayrides. Each person was able to take home a pumpkin from the field of pumpkins and the kids played on hay stacks, went through a corn maze, and fed goats. That Saturday we had a birthday party at the same place and one right after with a cowboy theme where Erin rode a donkey (can we say I'm a little tired of chili and hotdogs!) Thanks to Grandma Jenny we had some great pumpkin face stencils to paint on our pumpkins. Erin loved to paint them while Mady just watched her and had a little snack. This past weekend and coming weekend we have had Hell House at church (there are 80 people involved including Andrew who has been painted black and stands in a corner banging tin lids together) and it is awesome. I was scared and very emotional at the end- it has a great story line. For Halloween we are doing Kidz Fest which is like a carnival with free candy on our church grounds. Thousands come and it's A LOT of work. The holidays bring so much for us to do and I need to get busy and start shopping and planning for Christmas. It always sneaks up on me!
