We have a date!

My doctors appointment today was fast and easy but I did get to set a date after I continued to push the importance of it to me! I explained that I had help coming for Erin and we needed to know a day. So, he got me in on Sept 12 at 2:00 (38 weeks and 4 days). I had previously told him I wanted to be first thing in the morning and was told that wouldn't be an issue. However, on the 12th, 2:00 is my only option. I'd rather not give Madeline a Sept 11 birthday or wait 3 more days until Mon, so that will have to do. I asked if I could have a light breakfast and was told yes- bland, like oatmeal and toast about 8 hours before. So, hopefully the c-section will be on schedule and not running late and I won't be nauseous from not being able to eat all day. I've been known to do that. Oh well- it will all work out and if things go like they did with Erin, I will go into labor before that date gets here anyways. Mom and the girls are going to try and work their schedules out so they can be there but with their new jobs, I'm trying not to rely on that too much. Thankfully Grandma Jenny gets to fly down and be here for a while and we are so grateful! What a huge help to have someone look after and play with Erin while we are in the hospital and a few days after we get home. So, we have exactly a month to go and I'm ready to not be pregnant! We are finishing up the room finally and I have started packing the diaper bag and making a list of what I need for the hospital bag. It just seems so unreal right now- still!
