Taking a break...

Once again I am behind on this.  Between work, church, extra kids activities, keeping my house cleaned, cooking, and NOW taking online college classes, I may continue to be pretty delayed on this blog thing! It also takes me forever to upload pictures on here now that I have my new camera.  So, I am probably not going to be on here too much for a while and I ask that you please check out my facebook page to see all pictures and updated info.  I love the idea of this but I simply do not have time to do it right.  Most of you all are on faecbook anyhow so I hope that works out best for us all!  All my love!

Halloween and Family Fest

We had our annual Family Fest at church full of games, rides, and yummy food and thousands of people walked our church grounds. Andrew was head man in charge of it all so he's glad that it's over but it was a great success and a lot of fun. The girls loved being super girl and spider girl and had a blast!

Erin has lost 3 teeth in 2 weeks and I told her she's a little jack o lantern in time for Halloween!

Mady's Minnie Birthday Bash

Mady finally had her long awaited for Minnie party last weekend. She saw a cake on Korie's phone months ago and could not wait to see her own made in person. She was so happy and excited at her party and had a blast. Korie and GaGa made tha cake and helped with a lot of it. We did crafts, pin the bow on Minnie game, and danced to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse music. On her birthday just me and her went shopping and she made her very first Build-A-Bear (it was a lamb though and she named it Cupcake). The two ladies working followed her around and just carried on conversations throughout the process- it was pretty funny. She is a character.

Erin starts 1st grade!

Tired but excited Erin headed to 1st grade Wed. morning. She is nervous this year because we now have to read for 20 minutes every night and have spelling tests every Monday! She is in a 1st/2nd grade split class so a lot will be expected of her but I know she can do it. It's nice to have a little challenge :) She will do great.

Grandma and Grandpa Spears visit us in KY

We had a good few days with Grandma Jenny and Grandpa Scott. The girls loved having playmates and getting to shop for birthday gifts :) It was a nice relaxing time and always good to have company.

Erin's 6th Birthday Party

We had Erin's party at the YMCA pool this year. I tried to decorate but the wind was not cooperating and after using almost an entire roll of tape I gave up! However, it has been sooooo hot here the last few weeks (over 100 with heat index) so the breeze was nice. The kids have loved the pool this year so our party seemed fitting and everyone had fun. Aunt Korie made the adorable cake (she also made Owen's in my last pictures) and I'm trying to talk her into starting a cake business! I didn't get that trait unfortunately :)
